Drop Cables Usage And Selection
When only used for indoor applications, you can choose a butterfly shaped FTTH indoor fiber optic cable. When placed outdoors or along walls, you can choose self-supporting fiber optic cables with reinforcement.
For indoors, drop cables coating color must be white or similar to the wall color. When laying along the wall, there must be adhesive or other materials on the back of the coating that are easy to fix to the wall. In some cases, the coating must also have flame retardant properties or be low smoke and non-toxic.
